Charlie Greig, MSc, p.geo
Charlie Greig is a geologist with over forty years of experience in the exploration industry. Lately, his main area of expertise is project development and planning, although he still dabbles in geologic mapping, particularly as it applies to mineral exploration, when able. Charlie has worked on exploration projects from grass-roots through to development, and has worked on a number of projects that have subsequently been put into production, including La India in Mexico (Grayd–Agnico Eagle), Wolverine in Yukon (Atna-Westmin, Yukon Zinc), Alamo Dorado in Mexico (Corner Bay-Pan American Silver), Brucejack Lake (Pretium), and Bisha in Eritrea (Nevsun). Charlie has also worked on a number of advanced exploration projects which are not yet mines, but which have either reached an advanced stage of exploration, are in development, or have had a significant history of mining. These include: Asmara (Emba Derho, Adi Nefas, and Debarwa, Eritrea, for Sunridge Gold), Ike (Amarc Resources), Red Mountain (Lac Minerals, Seabridge, Ascot Resources), Casino (Western Copper and Gold), and Silbak Premier-Big Missouri (Westmin, Ascot Resources). Charlie’s recent exploration successes include discoveries for GT Gold Corp of the Saddle North Cu-Au porphyry deposit and the high-grade gold-silver mineralization at Saddle South, as well close involvement with American Eagle as an advisor on their Nak copper-gold porphyry prospect.
JEFFREY ROWE, BSC, P.GEO
Jeffrey Rowe holds a geology degree from the University of British Columbia, and has specialized in mineral exploration for more than 40 years, focusing on precious and base metals, primarily in British Columbia, the Yukon, and Mexico. He ranks among his successes, his involvement in the discovery of the Silvertip deposit in northern BC, currently one of the highest-grade silver-zinc-lead operations in the world, as well as the discovery and development of the Elk deposit in southern BC, a high-grade gold vein system that produced direct-smelter-shipping ore from open pit excavations in the 1990’s.
Jeff joined C.J. Greig & Associates Ltd. in 2007 and through this association he has provided professional assistance to a large number of public companies, including geological field work, property evaluations and technical reports. He currently works on evaluations and reports for select clients, and serves as a director for two public companies.
Roy Greig, Phd, P.geo
Roy Greig is a geologist with over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration, ranging from dirtbagging to mapping to drill program design and management, on projects from grassroots to resource delineation stages. He has worked on base and precious metals deposits in Alaska, Yukon, BC, Ontario, Arizona, Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Eritrea, with particular expertise in porphyry copper systems. This includes mapping work on the Filo del Sol (NGEx/Filo) and Saddle (GT Gold) discoveries. He has a PhD from the University of Arizona where he studied the Laramide porphyry copper province of SW North America. Currently, as Vice President Exploration for Amarc Resources, he is responsible for planning and directing field programs for Amarc's three district-scale porphyry copper-gold projects in British Columbia.
Nickolas Dudek, MSC, P.GEO
Nickolas Dudek graduated with an Honours BSc in Earth Science from McGill University in 2014 and completed his MSc from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and joined C.J. Greig & Associates the same year. During his career Nickolas has acquired a diverse base of professional experience (3D geomodelling and GIS, geostatistics and AI methods, VIS-NIR-SWIR application and interpretation, drill program planning and management, database management, oriented core, mapping, logging, and python-programming) on multiple commodities (iron, gold, copper, silver, potash). He’s been an integral part of GT Gold, Metallis, Evergold, Sierra Grande, and has provided technical support for Kodiak Copper, Bitterroot, and American Eagle. Currently Nickolas provides technical expertise for Amarc Resources, supporting the geologic advancement of their various B.C. projects, as well as providing support to other C.J. Greig & Associates Ltd. clients as needed.
Neil Prowse, MSC, P.Geo
Neil Prowse has worked for C.J. Greig and Associates in various capacities since 2009, starting as a soil sampler. He completed his MSc in geology in the spring of 2017, and transitioned to working full time-for C.J. Greig and Associates. He has a diverse skill set, including field geology, GIS, and project management. He was in charge of 3D modelling and geological interpretation for the 2017 and 2018 SIB Property drill campaigns for SSR Mining. Recently, he managed the exploration programs for Eskay Mining Corp.’s 2020 and 2021 seasons, directing almost 30,000 m of drilling. He oversaw the planning, drilling and geological interpretation of American Eagle Gold’s NAK porphyry Project in 2022.
Jeromy Jean, BSC, GIT
Jeromy Jean graduated with a BSc in Earth and Environmental Science from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2023. During his time at university, he joined C.J. Greig & Associates as a soil sampler in 2021 and worked on several field projects across British Columbia. Jeromy recently got his GIT designation and is working towards becoming a professional geologist. Over the past year, he has honed his expertise in geological mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), project management, and logging. Jeromy's multifaceted skill set and invaluable experience position him as a promising and dynamic professional in the field, with a bright future ahead as he continues to contribute to the exciting realm of exploration geology.
